We are excited to present a karate seminar by Sensei Falah Kanani on Saturday, June 16th. Sensei Kanani is a 5th dan in Shotokan and has more than 30 years of karate experience. He is a senior student of Sensei Nishiyama and is the chief instructor of the Japan Karate Association of San Diego. There will be a morning and an afternoon training session. The seminar is open to adults of all levels. More details to follow. Due to scheduling concerns for this event, we need to reschedule belt exams to Saturday, June 23rd.Memorial Day Weekend - Karate Seminar and Class Cancellations. Karate classes will be cancelled from Friday, May 25 through Monday, May 28. On Friday and Saturday, the UIC Karate Club is hosting a karate seminar with Dimitry Papdopoulos and Neeraj Dhawan. May 11, 2007. Looptopia. We are excited to announce that Enso has been invited to participate in LOOPTOPIA on May 11 from 6pm to 9pm at the Barnes and Noble on State Street. Come out and see karate, aikido, and capoeira demos! Due to this event, all classes will be cancelled May 11.

February 28, 2007. 6pm. Karate Belt Exams for Youth and Adults. The Adult Beginners Karate class is cancelled for exams. The All Levels class will start after exams.
February 17, 2007. 10am. Yoga for Martial Arts Workshop. Lily Chou, author of The Martial Artist's Book of Yoga, is pleased to host a yoga workshop for students of the martial arts looking to strengthen, stretch, and balance their bodies in a safe and effective way. The workshop will cover yoga basics as well as introduce poses that specifically complement martial arts training. This is a free workshop open to students ages 16 and up. Lily Chou will have copies of her book available for purchase. This workshop will be held instead of the Advanced Kata Class. The Adult All Levels Karate class will begin after the workshop.
